transmission fluid in water reservoir

i found transmission fluid in my 240 water Reservoir.
going to replace the radiator and flush engine.

any tips would be appreciated

Installed new radiator// flushed the system( the thermostat was clogged i removed and replaced with new . checked all fluids

all systems ..GO

It would be more important to flush the transmission - especially if the fluid shows any signs of being pink. -- Dave

installed a new radiator no pink fluid in transmission

now i need to flush the block, it is filled with redish brown gunk

You probably already have - but check ATF fluid level as you lost some...
