FUEL PUMP 200 1993

Good evening all, looking to replace my inline fuel pump. saw a Beck Arnley on Amazon. Anyone have any experience with those pumps?

Beck Arnley does not make the product. They source then put the product in their box.

In my experience it is usually the OEM manufacturer 85% of the time. The pump is probably Bosch so buy whichever is cheaper.

Hello, thanks for responding. You are correct, I ordered the MTC inline and the Airtex in-tank. The MTC has the same housing as the Bosch.

If you still have the original plug connectors to the fuel pump I would go bosch. If someone cut them and put different ones on to fit a autozone soon to fail aftermarket pump then I would still go with bosch. But you would need to solder some new plug connectors from a wrecking yard.

Yes, still original pump installed, one connector already crumbled when I crumbled when I touched it. Prior Navy Electrician so I'm pretty good at replaced those plugs. Thanks for responding.

You can buy the Bosch-brand main pump for less than the Beck-Arnley pumps on eBay. I peeked.

This one here from the AutZone. Pay at the store and they ship to the store for pickup. Or I guess you can buy it through the website for free ship to store or nominal ship to your homestead. Ooop, says free shipment.

Says for 1993. like 86 bux.

You may be able to call the store and ask them how much using the part number they have on the web page to ship to store.

    Cheaper then from iPd USA:

See FCPs fuel pump part listing with this URL here:

Else, well, I knew Beck-Arnley up to the late 1990s. I have no recent experience other than maybe tie rod or ball joints? They made or sourced great quality parts in the 1980s-1970s.

How is the in-tank pump and the small hose section that reaches to the under side of the fuel sender lid? In what shape is the low pressure rubber hose between the tank and the main fuel pump in? The fuel filter? And also the short section with fitting at the pump out to the fuel filter in? The fitting can be a real so-and-so.

And the rubber low pressure fuel line in the engine bay. All rather old, now.

    Questions?

    Hope that halps you.

Hello, thanks for the response. I haven't actually taken anything apart yet. I ordered the pumps and the Bung tool. At that age, all will be replaced.
