I thought it was cool/humorous. Some guy hacked his 240 door chime to play a song.

    without having looked at the chime relay, but knowing enough to make me dangerous, this should not be that difficult.

    I'll have to snag one of those chimes the next time I'm in the P&P and see what is inside and then go from there.

    should be relatively straight forward to do.

      Chime guts 200

      Matt,

      If you open one of those chimes you'll find plenty of room to stuff an audio loop chip and a speaker in place of the chime's piezo buzzer without tearing out the logic and timing functions. After all, you can get one built into a greeting card.
