Bosch Horns 1800 1963

Does anyone know where I can purchase a reproduction Bosch Horn emblem? Mine is a two hole emblem that reads along the bottom of emblem "HO/FSA 12/27" . An excellent photo of one would be great as well so perhaps I can photo copy and print to decal paper.

Thank you,
Peter

Thank you, that looks perfect. I ended up making one myself

I came up with this solution to replace the rusted horns for my 1800S. Had to do a bit of machining to allow for clearance between the grill and the vibrating surface and on the horn to mounting bracket nuts. Will probably powder coat the grill rather then painted as it is and also will replace the Phillips heads with slot head Fillister machine screws. Don't think I will paint the silver vibrating surface(does it have a real name?) but it and the nuts around the back of the rim are the giveaway.

Original horn mounts, can be a single arm, are part of the system and amplify the sound. Some of the single arms are made from 3 layers of steel. They help to increase the resonance. The silver part is probably know as the diaphragm.

I have an original horn from a 1957 PV444. It is mounted, on the right side of the radiator, by a hollow stud which the wires pass through. The hollow stud is in the center of the horn. The other old Bosch horn in my collection has the three layers of steel you mention.

Yes the 156mm “Highway” horn uses the mount made up of three layers of rectangular plates bound with space between by two brass bushings.

These new 125mm “City” horns are shown exactly as my ‘64 1800 had the originals on a single welded steel mount.
