Rear trailing arm bushings not round? 200 1993

I recently ordered and received a set of Volvo OE rear TABs (#1229165). They are not round. They have orientation markings and are out of round by 1/16". Is this shape expected? Hoping to get this answered before I attempt the replacements.

Thanks!

(my starting issue testing is on hold until I get the suspension clunking resolved!)

They're going to conform to the shape of the housing they're pressed into --- the press (threaded or hydraulic) won't take no for an answer. Be interesting to see just how 'round' the receiver is. I suspect a little squeeze in a big vice will true them up.

I love that fractional inch dial caliper! Goes with your handle, I think. Just checked some new old stock I have on the shelf to be a sixteenth wider (.070") on the vertical at the fat end. Gives me some further understanding of the need for hardened threads on the bushing puller tool. Keep them greased!
