It’s never good news when an autonomous automobile is involved in an accident. Lately, Alphabet’s Waymo crashed an autonomous bus in Las Vegas, and Uber managed to flip a self-driving Volvo in Arizona.

In the latest installment of autonomous car accidents across America, a self-driving test car from the Ford-backed startup Argo-AI was severely damaged Wednesday that sent two people to the hospital.

Are you implying that their programming can or will now look out for our old Volvo’s.
Will the autonomous cars run away or stop out in the middle of the road confused!
I like the first part.

I figure the insurance companies like us and are thankful for Our cars to be a cheap payout.

I have lately seen a lot of Volvos in movies for nostalgia or for stunt crashes!

Insurance companies don’t pay to replace ours but are glad we were on the road!
Their client gets their one time “free accident forgiveness policy gimmick” by missing some $30 to $60 K SUV with a black box that snitches out the truth of what happened.
Oh! That Old Volvo has an inferior braking system or wasn’t fast enough on taking off from the light!

We could be considered as “road kill” since it doesn’t need those many thousands of dollars for damages!
My used car just went up in value!
To my way of thinking, we are worth half as much as a new vehicle, for being the right moving obstacle, in a test of real life driving!
