Strut braces and strut to strut brace. 200 1993

Inspired by a post I read on this forum I fabricated and installed a couple of strut braces and I am very pleased with the results.
I've seen pics of the strut to strut braces (which apparently, IPD does not carry) on this forum as well and am confident about fabricating one. What I'm not sure about is the additional improvements would be in handling and/or steering.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Ben Kaplan at Kaplhenke Racing in MD makes one of the best ones around. Pretty good picture of it below. It solidly ties together the tops of the strut towers and the firewall. I notice 2 things - just an overall impression of greater solidarity and everything seems more "tied down" whenever I turn the steering wheel - especially at speed.

I went the cheaper route with upper strut braces, IPD sway bars, Bilstein HD and 16 inch Hydras from a 940 Turbo( which were free).

I would think strut braces should be paired with IPD sway bars on a 240 anyways to really feel the difference in handling and cornering.

Or in my case, paired with Koni Sports, Eibach springs, caster/camber plates, Luxe-steer strut bearings, IPD bars (28/22), poly bushings, lower chassis braces. You can feel the difference. (grin)

WOW! Very nice, Michael!

Are the camber/caster plates also a Kaplehenke product? Are they the 240 Offset Spherical Strut Mounts, or did you go with the more complex version?

Thanks in advance!

Steve A-
