945 heat distribution knob

I no longer have heat in the floor vents and the defrost is the only venting that works reliably. Fan works, but there's a hiss when vent is set on floor. I assume there's a broken vacuum line behind the dash. How bad is this job? Should I junk the car?

    Ifd this is your problem. May merely be a vacuum line disconnect or ??? I'm unsure on 700-900.
