Any suggestion for a tool to remove the crank pulley bolt on a 960/S/V90 (B6304S)? Looked around in the FAQ but couldn't find anything particular. I've done a few timing belt changes in the past without the need to get to the crankshaft seal, now I'm trying to actually have it replaced so the pulley would need to come off. I'm thinking of trying a cordless impact wrench (there are a few out there with pretty high torque rating but they tend to cost upward of $200, more than I'd like to spend) or perhaps a corded one could do the job. I'm trying to keep things simple, and since I don't really have other immediate use for an air compressor, I'd rather not go that route. Also noticed that IPD offers a crankshaft holding tool for whiteblock engines, perhaps that one could work too. On a 4 cylinder engine a similar tool is simple to use and works well. Any tips on doing this without messing up the timing would be welcome as well.
