Adding Auxiliary in to SC-816?

Hi Everyone,

I have a 1998 S90 with a stock head unit (SC-816). I would like to add an auxiliary port via any means possible. I've seen solutions that use the CD changer port, but I can't seem to find any of those kits (commonly produced by blitzsafe or USAspec), this solution would be ideal. If anyone has a source or one for sale please let me know.

I am also entertaining the possibility of an aftermarket head unit, but am having a hard time finding harness adapters. If anyone has any information or a nice solution to adding an aux in, please let me know!

Thanks

Adding Auxiliary in to SC-816?

Just thought I'd report back that I got the Blitzsafe adapter and it works great! Would recommend it to anyone.

I'm unsure if this is one of those connect a device line or portable headphone out to the magnetic tape head wires. I'd hope what you splice in is line-level at least, if olskool line level.

Else, this is Alpine M-bus? So if you can find the specific pin out, maybe you can merely build a patch cord. yet the CD controlling logic in the SC-816
