Need help with spark advance 200

Need help with spark advance. I Have a 1986 244 that the fuel injection wiring shorted out on about 12 years ago. Two years ago i saw it sitting out there looking dejected and pulled it in to my shop. worked 2 weeks on repairing the wiring to no avail. Then i tore the fuel injection stuff off and cast a manifold adapter and fitted a SU carburetor from a 240Z. It drove beautifully. But i seem to have no vacuum advance now. What can i do to get it working. Anti knock, too. If it isn't possible, is there an older Volvo distributor with vacuum advance that would fit? All help and ideas appreciated.
steve

"is there an older Volvo distributor with vacuum advance that would fit?"
Yes. Canadian Volvo 240s up to 1984 were available as carburetted also, so had vacuum advance distributors. Probably available on EBay.

others will no doubt chime in.
However.
You have stripped your Volvo of the Computer Controlled FI system.
The Ignition System linked to that FI System...it is known as the Volvo/Chrysler Ignition System..., It sits there waiting ofr an input from the FI Comuter.

You need to go back and install a

Bosch Breakerless Ignition.

Which was used in Old Volvos. And BMW's etc ...non Computer FI's

Ignition Systems Folder

Not integrated with the FI Computer.
