For Those in the Pacific Northwest Looking for Cars to be Parted Out or Restored 200

I am lucky to live in the Pacific Northwest for many reasons. One of them is getting to know Larry at Rainbow Auto Service in Bellingham, WA (http://rainbowautoservice dot com/). I know that Larry is needing to clear out a large number of hulks in various levels of decrepitude. So if you are needing something, you ought to get in touch with him. Cheers

Larry's a great guy, and interested in keeping a lot of these Volvos on the road. He'll mostly be scrapping out all the 87 and later stuff first; the "classic stuff: will come later.

Just back from a multi-day "vacation" trip while Larry worked on about 2 dozen things on my wife's car that I didn't want to do. While there, he let me wander through his boneyard and pull out a number of interior parts for our cars. Lots of stuff back there.

In beautiful Whatcom County near or in lovely Bellingham. I'd been to Larry's. Have a few 240 engine bay 'belly pans'.

The craft ale, like Kulshan, Chuckanut, Boundary Bay, and many others .... bike friendly, and such. I'd be glad to be a Belling-hamster.

The PacNW rules. The toilet midwest sucks. If the writer job at Alpha Technologies paid me what it did other new writers four years ago, more than likely, I'd be there, now, in a Volvo 240-friendly locale.

In the arches city with the stupid MLB Cardinals and NHL Blues, you get some mean looks 'cause your car-car ain't new-new.

MO-state hates you if your car is old, as the dealerships here write the auto inspection and taxation laws. Yet I digress.

I don't live in B-ham but further south in Puget Sound. Until recently I had never even been to B-ham. But having taken 2 multi-day "vacations" while Larry worked on our cars, I can agree with you. I am very surprised at how nice the city is and how good the general vibe is too. Not too sure about the winters though. Cheers!
