Later model M40, incorrect tail housing angle for speedometer cable 444-544

Swapped a newer model M40 into my '63 544 but the tail housing has a different angle for the speedometer cable. The old housing (part 380127) fits the angle of the cable but the newer housing 380448 does not.

I've read that the tail housings are NOT interchangeable.

Any ideas on how to make the speedocable fit or other ideas?

    Looks like I need a speedo angle drive adapter. Could someone point me in the right direction to purchase one?

          FYI, the drive pin that I got with the VP angle drive was too long.

          The VP angle drive is not a VDO which is the original brand and what Volvo still sells.

            Can you direct me to the correct drive pin part # and where to get it? I've ordered an angle drive and I won't know if the pin is correct until it's too late.

              They cost $6.38 and I buy them right from Volvo.
