OBD, who needs it? 1995 940 130K 900 1995

Check engine light came on. Kicked a tires ouch. Engine running, open hood, heard a high pitch whistle. Oh just a simple little vacuum leak. I got out my 4' 3/4" id stethoscope (old radiator hose) and started poking around. It got louder at the intake manifold but I couldn't pin point it at first. Pinpointed, it was coming from the bottom of the manifold between ports one and two.

Oh yeah, checked OBD codes, blinked 1-1-3 and 2-3-2, both of which indicates what I found, improper air/fuel mixture.

I'll put in a new gasket, reset codes and hope that's it, for now.

Old Volvos last forever as long as you keep working on them.

Tom
