Manual transmission / overdrive 700 1992

Two years ago I did trany swap of M46 from 740 turbo '92 into my 940 Turbo. Last summer I have noticed slipping. Changed the clutch kit, master and slave cylinder. And it slips! I can feel it especially going downhill on 3 gear. It is as if the car is changing gears by itself and the RPM fluctuates. The car gets noisy as if wheel bearing going south. And recently I have noticed that pressing OD brings green light ON on the dash but RPM stays the same.
Any ideas?
Thanks

    Hi Robert,

    Maybe this'll help:

    https://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/TransmissionManual.htm

    Specifically, from there downward:
    https://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/TransmissionManual.htm#ManualM46LaycockOverdriveUnitBasicOperation

    And maybe:
    https://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/OverdriveRebuild.htm

I'd not owned or serviced an overdrive in quite some time.

So, hopefully some folks with current info and expereince can better help you.

    cheers,

International Clash Day, To-day! (As in the band named 'The Clash')
