Where can I find an Upper Steering knuckle/joint new? NOS 200

Hello all, My lower steering knuckle/joint is bad, and my Rack has been leaking fluid into the boot. So... thought it was time to install a new rack, and replace the two steering joints. I can only seem to find the lower one... Anyone know where I could get a new one?

In 30 years of Volvos, I've never had to replace an upper u joint. It can be lubricated, but unless something is really weird I can't imagine it would require replacing. Lower ones I have replaced before, mainly due to rust or neglect.

Keeping looking, but I read here sometime ago that the upper steering shaft u-joint is NLA.

Did you try all the aftermarket sources in addition to Volvo dealers? Might have to go used.

IMHO - Unless it is binding, sloppy or loose I wouldn't worry about it. It is the lower one that normally wears out because it is exposed to much more road crud - oil, sand, rocks, salt etc. If it were my car, I'd occasionally spray it thoroughly with WD-40 while rotating the steering lock to lock. That alone should keep it going...:)
