Great biscuits and gravy!

How many miles on that rotor? How does the cap interior appear?

Any symptoms at all that gave you cause to check and replace?

Appears as a lightning bolt got to it!

I'll guess you replaced both rotor and cap together.

Hope all's aces and eights!



Going to read up more at the Volvo Forums. For some reason, I though that was all FWD/AWD Volvo. Though I get the various Volvo enthusiast sites confused sometimes.

miles on it? haven't a clue... it's been on since i have owned the car.. close to 3 years.
the cap was worn but not crazily... also had the 'made in mexico' sticker haha. no mention of 'bosch' or any other brand to be found on either part!

symptoms were stumbling.. alsmost stalling at slow speeds.. thought it was a fuel delivery problem at first. i don't believe the in tank pump is working..

honestly i have never seen a rotor in this bad a condition, let alone with a still running engine!

anyway needless to say the engine is performing much much better with a new bosch cap and rotor.
