help, front control arm bushings don't fit! S90-V90

I've been changing bushings in the front control arms in my 1998 V90. I've been having the problem that the OEM (Boge) front bushings have gotten too small for my control arms: I've gotten one set from FCP Euro, and just checked another one at a dealer -- same problem -- they just get in and out easily, feels like a fraction of mm difference in size from what it should be. The ones I removed (Febi) still fit right - the outer diameter of the bushing is that fraction of mm more. I wonder what happened: did I screw my control arms up last time around by installing aftermarket bushings, or am I dealing with some kind of defective batch of new ones? The part number is 6819537, the Febi does not seem to be available anymore, but there are other aftermarket alternatives. I know, I know, I can just get a set of aftermarket control arms, but with the little experience I have, putting the new bushings in is really not that big of a deal, and I do like the original aluminum control arms better than the Chinese manufactured replacements...

I'm lazy so I've been running the aftermarket control arms. They seem OK, but I don't expect the bushings to last that long. Of course they have lasted 40k miles...

I have a 97/960 and gave out replacing the bushings a long time.
You have 2 options:
1. Buy a complete control arm at FCP Euro and comes with a life time warranty but save your receipt or Email. When it fails send it back and just pay the difference between the old and the new part.

2 Local auto parts buy a Moog control arm life time warranty, when it fails exchange it.

I done these 2 options on many parts.

Well, took me a day and a visit to a local junk yard. Yes, my control arms are bad, apparently damaged by the previously installed Febi bushings... The replacement control arm I pulled from another car did not have this problem (it did have a Volvo bushing installed). I frankly did not think it was possible to do this sort of damage by installing a $20 bushing... Now I need to find a car with a decent set of control arms -- I was only able to pull one from a fairly well trashed junk car... Oh my, oh my...

Keep looking for a set of control arms, that would be your best bet at this poiint- although they arenn't that pricey- try rock auto.com or ipdusa.com- odd that the originals you have were damaged by replacement bushings? I bought a set of bushings from IPDUSA parts and they worked okay- so far replaced them last year-
the bushings I replaced were cracked and rubber was old. so they needed replacing
