Amazon designer passes away 120-130

Just thought it was worth mentioning that the designer of the Amazon and several other Volvo models passed away just over a week ago on 6th August. He was born in Brooklyn in 1930 and designed Volvo models right up to the 850.

That's pretty interesting, do you have a name?

Matt Barmann also posted the link to wiki on Volvo Amazon. So he was an American really. Amazing the Amazon didn't have 14 inch fins and bullet tail lights.

Thanks - that's a very comprehensive link. He was very talented and managed to remain contemporary and interesting. I love the U.S. references of the Amazon and even though I wasn't a big fan of the 740/760, I loved the 850 so I guess I'd caught up at that stage.
