Dry, faded interior plastics? Bag Balm to the rescue. 200

Just wanted to pass along a possible solution for those out there with dry, brittle dash covers and other interior plastics. If you give the dash, for example, a clean and then rub some bag balm into it, give it time to absorb, and then wipe off the excess, it would appear that you can breathe some new life into the plastics without the 'greasy' appearance one gets with Armorall or similar products.

The dash on my 220 and the beige plastics in my 240 have responded very positively to the above regiment.

Cheers,
Zach

    Thanks.

Online or is it at local stores?

      Hi

I just saw a square green can of that stuff at my local animal feed store.

A guy there was at the counter holding up some cans of that stuff.
He was making the remark that the nifty little one inch size square can, of only one ounce, was $7 and some change in his one hand.
In the other he had A four ounce size, in a bigger square green can and it was $11.60.

He rocked his head and squinted and says, What's up with the pricing on this one?

Both clerks shrug their shoulders and say for a purse size, maybe?

I don't think he must use a purse as he bought the larger one! (:-)

      You gotta love this country.
We may invent good stuff here, but packaging, I won't count as our smartest hour!

It was a no brainier for him though.

      Phil
