Failed smog block due to control board not clearing codes 1999

I have put 1500 miles on the car to clear the codes did not work as I live in California the rules are extremely strict my self tests have cleared which makes me ineligible for a bypass by smog referee Help! I am in a catch 22 situation Any advice will be appreciated.

    The only advice I have is for you to post again in another area of the site.

    Where this post is, cars as modern as 1999 don't occur very often. Make sure you give the model and year in your post and describe whether "control board" refers to CARB or something in the car.
