for those who have regina 940's and might need a fuel pump 900

i have used these pumps in 240 conversions from 2 fuel pumps to a single intank pump and in regina FI 940's as well as 940 turbos.

this is private label pump but imo is made by airtex in the usa and is functionally identical to the E3270... a 1990's pump used in a myriad of big suv cars and effortlessly able to push out 80 psi.

the pump is for practical purposes nearly free from this source and does a great job in all the 940, 240 and range rovers i have installed it in.

you just can not beat the price for quality.

NOTE: if you choose to use this in a 240 to replace both pumps you install this one in place of the intank pump but you MUST run nylon or other high pressure capable line from the pump out to the top of the sender and then from the sender to the filter.

for those who have regina 940's and might need a fuel pump 900

Do you know if this pump has a check valve built in it to prevent fuel from being drawn back to the tank? I need to install it in my Regina car.
    Thank you in advance.

      one more thing charles 900

      one more thing charles

when you remove the sender from the tank you will notice the pump is held to the sender in 2 ways.

      1. a thin brass colored strip of metal snaps on the sender in two places
      2. the metal hose is connected to the pump and the top of the sender via flex hose.

when you install this pump remove the metal part of the hose which also has a funny looking gadget attached to the fuel line just above the pump.

buy a piece of submersible fuel rate hose and a couple of clamps long enough to reach comfortably the bottom of the sender outlet to the top of the new pump without that funny gadget you no longer need.

what will hold the pump to the sender now will be the thin brass colored strip and fuel hose.

buy a hose clamp large enough to go around the pump and clamp it middle way up the length of the brass metal strip.

no it doe snot and you do not need a check to be installed. i have a 93 regina 940 and use this pump right out of the box, no check valve.

upon turning the key the pump pressurizes the line in a couple of seconds.
