So, some fellow as the 15" steelies from a 740. Says he can fit them onto a 240. And use the late-1970s to late-1980s two piece steelie wheel center cap like you see here:







He has four 740 black steelie 15" wheels for free. I asked for yet have to receive the PN.

Will the 15" 740 steelie wheels fit at 1992 240 with ABS? I'll guess 15 195 or 185 / 60 0r 65. Will the Volvo 240 steelie two-pice center caps fit?

Will the ride improve? Better handling?

I have crappy Coronas. All four for 24$ One wheel is bent. All the tires are defects, meaning out of round. Yet were new-used from scam cram Spokane craigslist. That was 5-6 years ago.

Springs are stock front and 1993 Wagon 240 rear, with Bilstein Touring all around and fully rebuilt suspension by me with OEM rubber bushes (save for the rear torque rods). 23 mm bar front. Stock rear. LSD diff.

What do I look for in a wheel like this? Defects? Problems?

Any one else put 15" 740 steelies on a 240?

I think it is Volvo PN 13875349. At least for the 1992 740.
