Battery box 120-130

Good day all
Has anyone ever replaced or repaired a corroded battery box on their Amazon or any other vintage Volvo? I would like to know what the easiest solution is, please.

Thanks for the responses, I will consider both options.

My 122 battery-box had a couple of nickel size holes. I patched them with multiple layers of fiberglass and POR 15.

No such thing as an easy repair for a rusty battery box. :-)

I have seen all kinds of patches made from cardboard, plastic, aluminum/steel sheet metal and fiberglass.

The correct way is to remove all rusty metal and replace with welded metal patches.

And if necessary, replacement of the entire battery box with a good used 1 as new is NLA.

FYI, I do have a good used battery box.
