Using starting fluid 900

My daughter now has the family 1994 940 base sedan. The car is a real gem but has some trouble starting occasionally in rainy, wet conditions.

I am planning on replacing the plugs and wires which has not been done in a long, long time. However, until I get out to visit her and do this, I wanted to give her some more specific instructions on using starting fluid which might help.

Specifically, where should one spray the staring fluid?

Thanks a lot.

Agreed, the tune-up is indicated, but to answer your question, as asked in both the topic of the thread and in summary:

"Specifically, where should one spray the staring fluid?"

Here's how I use it. And that isn't often. This can has to be 20 years old.

replacing wires which is the primary cause of poor wet starts is simple and ought to be effortless for your intelligent daughter.

take one wire off and match it against the length of the new wire replacing then move on the next wire.

whats to think about?

my kids always rose to expectations.

I replaced the spark plugs and wires and it solved the problem. This is the first time I'd done this and it wasn't hard to do. The plugs looked very old and tired and were due for replacement.
