A reason for my short book! I agree with your observations, again.
I was attracted to the article because my first thoughts about the whole electrical thing which goes way back in my mind.
What's with the darn cords. Here we go again!
Just look at the configurations on them already!
At least we should learn a lesson from all the "wall warts" we made for hand held devices.
A cord is most efficient transfer method and that's Fine, if it's in closed garage.
But out there, on the streets of thieves, not for a minute.
Those conductors, Might as well be lollipops on a tree!
I later envisioned parking spaces at home, work or malls. You pull into a hot shoe or over an inductor coil.
The setup should read your VIN number and pulls up your account. Just like toll booths except they use a transmitter or now your license plates.
It can then be linked to an employee or any consumer certified. You get out a go, done!
Another, learning curve again!
At least Google is like Apple and not like Microsoft that got the people to fix their bugs mostly for free!
One day I stopped, a person about my age, unplugging her electric Fiat. I asked how she like the car.
She said it was more roomy than she expected and very agile.
Very cheerful and thoughtful.
Then, she told me more than what I wanted to know!
What I didn't know, that while she was having her hair and nails done, across the lot from her car was at the Home Depot, of which I came out of.
This particular charging station was free under some government subsidies and Home Depot jumped into installing them or a city thing!
She said, There are more around over town but they are getting harder to find empty!
So there you go, if its free and you know where to put in your hands, money persuades.
Oh by the way, she likes the car more for around town needs over their non electric SUV Lexus!
With these cars, her gas costs drop to about .42 cents a gallon in mileage calculations over the Lexus costs.
No mention of no oil or coolant changes. Just tank measurements.
But like you say, save for them batteries and disposal.
I see into the future coming up with wind farms, solar panels lining as an electric grid of highways with submerged coils.
The flux part you talk about will be going upwards and charges your capacitor. Like in the web site, from coils passing under the car. Make total sense if we are building out with public and Wall Street money..... If there is a difference with a printing machine!
Back to the future is closer already!
Hybrid maglev cars are next, if we dare!
There is the technology for power transferring. Trick is, will they just standardize the darn stuff, before they jump into the world pond and drown all those that need to follow. Hopefully without a human ego or the need for greed!
Yes, these will be personalized flat ways instead of railways.
All automated driving.
No more tailgating or those high rise 4 wheeled intimidators behind you!
No erratic, last second lane changes.
No reason for commute traffic to ever slow down.
No looky Lou's passing by!
No windows needed as there will be complete submersion into video information or napping to the next of many jobs it will take to hold down the fort or household!
There has been a time or two that I wished there was an electric shock dumped out up from the seat cushions when a nervous person touched or blink on their brake lights!
It just starts a chain reaction. Real bummer when you get up to their point and it was nothing! No reason at all, the traffic is just kept on creeping by.
An interchange of merging without spacing is the issue! Everyone should take a rack and pinion gear class in driving school. IMHO
It sort of shows Einstein's time space fabric at work!
I have a bother-in law that works for highways. He worked on the roads and studied traffic cams. He says the phenomenon last for 20 to 30 minutes past the time the incident was completely cleared away.
I think Einstein was a deep deep observer or stood in "A" line as well!
Too many people on the planet. It is the bottom line!
I see it and I'm no Einstein.
We have changes all the time, that is, changing into making more room, at the cattle troughs of life's needs.
When I grew up, it was duck and cover!
Now it's ...
Tuck in them elbows, boys and girls!
