fuel line check valve 120-130 1967

The fuel drains back from the carb (Weber, but that shouldn't matter) if the car sits for a week and it requires a long crank to restart. Has anyone installed a check valve in the fuel line to prevent this ? Is there a good reason not to ?

Thanks

Greg

I don't think fuel can drain back, what with the line being well above the fuel level in the float bowls. It will definitely evaporate, though.

Greg;

There are two checkvalves in the Fuel Pump. Your FuPu output valve might not be working so good.

Cheers
