    I am SAM. SAM I am.

    I am CB from 1998 with a bona fides password...but that password is now USED By Someone Else.

    If I need to log on for selling etc...I become CeeBee.

    Quirk in the System?

    Similar to this quirk...SomeTimes after reading a post I go back to the main and Every Post is Flagged as NEW...aka Unread.

      I get this sometimes but it's rare. Can happen on other forums too. Pressing F5/Refresh should bring everything back to normal

        Hi CB,

        I'm looking for Larry Gray and Don Foster and the Volvo 240 rust proofing manual.

        Searches on Google do not reveal anything.

        In the message, Larry Gray sent links to Don Foster that he coded into his now dated message from 1998.

        I found someone by one of their names on another Volvo enthusiast site. Yet I have a tech doc project I'm prepping for, so sorry I'd not followed up further.

        If you need admin help, Find Jarrod Stenberg (See © Jarrod Stenberg). He owns this site, or rather, is the content provider and original founder. Jarrod wrote the nested frameworks that comprise the brickboard forums software.

        Search for Jarrod Stenberg and brickboard and you may find a way to contact Jarrod so you can have your original brickboard account returned to you.

        I doubt it, yet I may have the rust proofing manual you seek, all 9 jpeg image files of the original scanned document on a Power Mac or one of the ump-teens of classic Macintosh OS formatted SCSI-II hard drives. Many of these drives no longer spin. My junk is spread out. (Can't find my Bentley manual now for years.) So, when I can, and that is a long time when, I'll see if I can connect hard drives to one of the Power Macs I have and see if they boot or the Mac OS volumes even load *if* the Mac OS 9.2.2 boots up.

        I'll keep looking, but I'm pressed to get work done and out.

        Else, you may want to start a thread on Volvo 240 rust proofing methods. I'm certain some other folks that date on this board back to Larry Gray and Don Foster may have insight. I could speculate on procedure as to what I've done.

        Now that we have a single snow-flake on the ground and a bazillion tonnes of rock salt and salt brine.

        Wish they'd use calcium chloride for snow melt. Easier on steel cars. Though you still want to rinse the under carriage and restore the undercoating and oil the chassis blind compartments. As well as verify body, door, moon roof, and the like drains are clear.
