suggestions for 240 seat replacement 200

We have a 91 240 4 door sedan. The front seats are finally going to pot and my son would like to replace them. He isn't worried about staying stock, just doesn't want to have to spend eons and too much money adapting. Would appreciate any thoughts on good replacements, Ricaro, junk yard, etc. Thanks for any comments.

    Rebuilding probably the best bet.

I put a set of 1999 Subaru seats in mine and am happy with them.

I used the 240 frame and rails, using an "adapter block" of rectangular tubing.

I reupholstered my seats earlier this year. The results have been great.

Your best bet is rebuilding them and recovering them (cleanflametrap.com has the link at the bottom of the page). Barring that, you go to the junk yard with a tape measure.

I miss the 240 seats. Once rebuilt back to factory specs and covered in the late tan tweed (which wears like iron and is machine washable!) still the most comfortable long haul seats I have ever had. Incrementally better than my 940 "wide-boy" seats.
