Broke speedometer needle off....HELP!! 200 1992

While diagnosing a inoperative speedometer on a 1992 244, w/ ABS, I dropped the speedometer and snapped the needle off.

Does any one know how to take the needle off and put a new one on?


I have several laying around and can replace it if someone can tell me how to take it off.

    Matt, when I repaired mine I had to take off the needle. I grasped the base of it (on the round disc part) and pulled straight off the spindle. It was held on with just friction.
