VOXX Wheels for 244 200 1991

Friends at the Brickboard:

I've been thinking of installing a set of the matte black VOXX wheels that IPD sells on my '91 244. Has anyone had any problems with their fit with stock suspension? Apparently the tire size goes up to a 16". And how about overall quality. IPD no longer carries the Pegasus replicas, so the VOXX appears to be the best choice for fitting the original without spacers.

Do you want to keep the stock overall total diameter?

I need new tires anyway, so I don't mind the change from 14" to a 16" tire. I'm just concerned about the tire rubbing if it's larger. I'm just wondering if there is anyone who can tell me how they've worked for them on a stock 244 (91 if possible)?

I'm referring to the effect on speedometer accuracy, gearing, steering, and suspension geometry. The total diameter of wheel and tire together.

I used the wheels/tires from a '92 940 on one of my 245's with absolutely no problems. Wheels 16x6.5 -- tires 205-55-16. Those would have had whatever the stock 940 wheel offset is -- can't vouch for any other. -- Dave
