Composite Rust Repair 200

I don't have much time to write the details but here is my album showing me using fiberglass, carbon fiber and epoxy for repairing rust holes, rusted off bottom door hinge and also lining the cardboard door and plastic panels for durability. The door hinge basically was gone. The rocker rusted from the inside due to leaves (vacuum your rockers through the two white plug-in holes!). The brittle plastic crumbled.

I used West G-Flex epoxy for the plastic - holds up well, just sand up the surface first. It's a unique epoxy for plastics.

The door hinge got 5 layers of 12oz carbon - 3 on the inside and 2 on the outside, the rust holes got 2 layers of same carbon, the plastic panel got one layer of 12oz glass and some local carbon patches.

Use the brickboard BrickPix image uploader, and reference .... 200

Another reason to upload images to your brickboard account through your profile using the brickboard.com BrickPix image up loader.

Attribute the images as TECHNICAL

You can link an image using the Image URL upload.

Or, use the img src html method to link the images while composing your message.

Don't use photobucket or other such photo sharing sites unless they freely allow you to link images, using a fixed link, without a bunch of cookie swapping and stuff.

cheers,

dud.
