Can anyone tell me if all of the drum brakes adjust the same way. Does the adjuster that you access from the back always get turned up from the back (down from the front)?

    Does it really matter?

    Adjust it10 notches one way and see if the wheel feels different.

    Go back to the start and do ten notches the other way and check the wheel.

    If that does not answer your question, try 20 notches.

    If the star is frozen, spray some brake cleaner around and try a punch and a small hammer to start the process.
