torquing front crossmember bolts on 940 900

Hi,
Hopefully quick question- I'm wanting to torque my front crossmember bolts on my 940. I pretty much can't get them to budge due to rust. Are the nuts on the bottom loose or are they welded to the frame? I wanted to know before I went too ape on them and really screwed something up.
Thanks!
Lyle

The transmission crossmember is held in place by bolts which screw into threaded nutserts in the unibody. The front crossmember (which has the engine mounts on it) has integral nutserts which the bolts, from above, secure the crossmember in place.

I've had to drill and tap, to an oversize, one of the nutserts for the transmission crossmember. Be careful removing, and especially re-torquing, the bolts holding the transmission crossmember in place.
