Can't remember what these copper gaskets are for 200

Going through the spare parts.

Found three copper gaskets in an unmarked bag. 20mm od, 15mm id. That's approximate. I don't have calipers at home. Just laid them on a metric rule.

Can't quite place them. I think they're probably for the K-Jet fuel lines.

Tried to find a description on line but to no avail.

Anybody know right off where this size is used?

Might be the big LH gas filter/accumulator by the Main pump.

Okay. So you don't know either.

      Thanks, Phil.

        Yep!

I didn't go pull any filters from stock. Like I have a warehouse of new stuff.

15 X 20 mm scaled by more than my eyeballs and your ruler seems very plausible to me.

Can you name the other places besides the oil pan where they are used.

The bango is fairly large on those LH filters of which, are bigger than a K jets.

I'll take some education anytime, I can find a source holding it.

Like milk, some Old cats can still lick it up you know!

Let me know where they go. Inquring minds want to know! Don't you! (:-)

Nice chatting with you. It's been awhile.

Ah! Just remembered, did you ever get the A/C in your house working last summer?
You were hot and said it was very old. Did you replace it?

        Just an inquiry.

        Phil

A little further investigation (which I should have done in the first place) leads me to believe this is PN 18671 which has numerous uses in Volvo automobiles over the years and is probably still being used even to this day.

Which makes my original question rather ridiculous.

Yes, Phil, I wouldn't be surprised to find it is a fuel filter gasket, amongst other things. But in this case I believe I used it at the main fuel pump outlet.

I replaced the main pump on the 242 in 2011. I'm just not sure why I have so many.

I will answer your other question on the opinions forum where I will revive the AC thread.
