rear door speakers 700 1990

I want to replace my rear door speakers and need to know which size to purchase and where to find same also, if anyone has replaced these if it is a simple replacement?

    I got replacement speakers from Crutchfield and they were a bit smaller than the odd size Volvo used, but came with plastic adapters to fit the doors' internal openings. Whether the adapters are still available given the age of the 700/900 cars - and the number still on the road - is a good question.

    It is simple, I did it in two cars, but I don't recall the size. Due to the inner door metal and the size of the opening, you can't go bigger than stock.
