Made the mistake of using my radio back in ice storm winter months when my antenna was jammed under some ice and wouldn't extend all the way up. Now it will operate but makes a really loud creaking noise cry time it operates. Anybody know if it can be lubed up somehow to get it to function a little more smoothly? Or would I need to replace ?

    Usually the sections of the mast get stuck together and can be worked apart with PB Blaster and pulling manually until they free up.
