I am cleaning up the rusty rims on my '66 122s. I have tried various brands and colors of rattle can spray paint suggested by the Brickboard, but none of the colors look correct. I am also not pleased with the inconsistent quality of the rattle can finish.

I would prefer to buy a can of single stage auto paint rather than all these cans of spray paint. Matthews Volvo site has paint codes listed for Volvo rims. Do any of these paint codes correspond with the 122s rims? Silver 930, Dark Silver 931, Anthracite 932,Champagne 933, White Silver 935, and Bright Silver 936.

    I used this two part epoxy from summit:
    http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-UW700
    It is a bit more "silvery/sparkle/metal flake" than oem but i think it looks ok.
    The two pint system is probably enough for 10 wheels since i used about half to do 5. About $40 bucks so even if i never use the rest, its about $8 bucks a wheel. I sandblasted the wheels and used a grey epoxy primer first then topcoated with silver. thinking about clear coating but havent done it yet.
