Replacement right brake light lens (lower, outer) for later 240 sedan 6-panel taillight? 200 1992

I found a matching set of the Valeo tail lights from a 1988 or so 240 in the salvage yard. Yet most of the lower outer red brake light lens for the right North American market passenger side taillight is missing

I turned the power of Google towards the mighty brickboard.com and I could not find any articles on Volvo 240 tail light replacement. I'm certain they are there. I've read them before.

Turbobricks http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=2117 indicates:

http://www.hallsjostyling.com/

http://www.hirschindustries.com/

I'll try Tasca Volvo when I have broadband again. I can't see these two sites right now, for lack of broadband.

Not much here:
https://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/ElectricalLightingHorns.htm

I'd recalled you could purchase replacement tail light lenses for 240, like the white reverse light lens that seems to lose it's factory-adhesive grip in all of the wrap-around 240 sedan & coupe taillights, and the red lens for the lower, outer brake lights with these final-style or version six-panel 240 tail lights.

FCP Groton and iPd USA no longer have these red brake light lenses. Only the white reversing lamp lenses. Looked at Dave Barton and some other likely places.

I may have a spare red lens, yet it may be for the left side (as you sit in the Volvo 240, looking forward). I'd like a right side.

I may futz with LEDs on these. I've not yet assembled most of these Volvo 240 tail lights in this image you may recall ....

TECHNICAL - Volvo 240 Tail Light MADNESS!!!!!

I'll keep looking.

Thank you,

Sat-Your-Day Sleepy MacDuff.

Found an eBay auction for the 6-panel wrap-around red brake light lens ..... 200 1992

Right Hand Red Brake Light Lens:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/TAIL-LIGHT-lens-only-TAILLIGHT-LAMP-VOLVO-240-sedan-RH-repair-kit-red-lens/360834802504

Left Hand Red Brake Light Lens:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/TAIL-LIGHT-lens-only-TAILLIGHT-LAMP-VOLVO-240-85-93-LH-repair-kit-red-lens-/151208463812

While the left tail light has a good lens stamped Valeo, the tail light body is stamped Cibie.

Though in the images, the red does not look so red ... I'll see if I can find the used one brake light lens, and be disappointed it is left hand side. If I did not leave it behind in SW Oregon like 17 years ago. I get teh two different OvLov parts collection sometimes confused.

So, there you go. Unless anyone has other ideas?

I'll see your images tomorrow. Not a photobucket and like "no way to directly link to the image file or object" image-hosting site fan here.

    Thanks,

    dud mac duffed.

      Hi Nel621

So, are you selling these red brake light lenses? These are Volvo OEM brake light made by Valeo or Cibie?

How much for a break light lens?

You are in the Bronx in NYC?

      Thanks,

      Duffed.

You can't direct link images img src from photobucket unless the user account holder sets permissions. 200 1992

I still can't see your images.

The default as now on the photobucket user account does not permit a direct link using a html tag like img src to display the image. The account holder has to set permissions to an object like an image file or directory and all contained therein.

So, are these tail lights like beyond repair, yet have an intact red lens for the right side?

It'd be swell that you merely load images into the brickboard.com and use the img src tag to link using html in the message body?

I'll see these by tomorrow or so.

        Thanks,

        Volvo 240 Taillight Boyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Just the red brake light lens for 1992 240. 200 1992

I have a set of Valeo taillights. You see my Volvo Taillight Madness image.

No, just the red brake light right side (as you sit in the Volvo 240, looking ahead) lens, please, for the passenger side, lower, outer brake light for North American Volvo 240.

I run with out JavaScript on this browser at narrow band rates. You can say teh mountainous terrain makes data transception a bother. So, I can't see your Photobucket images, even when one pastes the supposed direct URL/URL to the image file on the photobucket.com site.

Could you please use the brickboard.com image loader with your account, on your brickboard.com account profile page. so you can load these images on the brickboard.com site so every body can see the images? Even if you have to manually load the image in the image display disabled browser.

        I'm still looking. Thanks folks.

I'll try the ebay and such when a broader transception returns.

And hug your RWD Volvo. They seem to like hugs.

        Thanks,

Sundae Sour Ale MacDuff Morning, though Volvo 240 Restin' Before the Daytime Heatin'.
