    wierd noise

    Hi Steve,

What Volvo year and model, please?

Indeed, the interior brake covers, or shrouds, or I dunno what they are called, can be bent. Yet at this age

Replacing the shroud require removal of the brake caliper and front hub assemblies.

An opportune time to replace the inner rubber seal on that front wheel hub.

Some may pull away the rusted material away and leave the rest of it on the hub.

The shroud prevents garbage from getting up in the hub and brake caliper. Liek snow, mud, debris, and other stuff.

    Questions?

    Thanks,

    Salad Avocado.
