How to replace turn signal switch 444-544

Any tips/instructions on replacing a turn signal switch in a '63 544?

Do I need to remove the steering wheel or just the steering wheel cover?

Thanks

The steering wheel will have to be removed so you can remove the steering column bezel.

And the bezel is 55 year old plastic that's been baking in the sun, and might be stuck firmly to the steering column. Very brittle and fragile. You might think about getting a replacement bezel while you're at it.
