Hi, can anyone point me to a site or FAQ about removing the front bumper cover on the 960s ?

Do the sides slide off once the front is released?

    Hi Chris,


    I don't own a 960 but I don't mind having one.

    Based on my research, it looks like you should be able to pull out the front bumper by removing the side fasteners. The back side of the front bumper has molded wedges that locks into the reinforce beam. To get to the side fastener, you may need to remove your wheel and wheel liner. Take a look at back side of the bumper. See what's in there. I can't tell much by looking at a bumper alone.

    I can tell you more if you can take a photo. :)

      Thanks, Mr. Baklava (!), the photographs shown in that eBay auction are the same type of bumper cover.

      I believe that there must be attachments to the very front underside, because it appears that the sides slide into clips attached to the front fenders. I can post photos of those very soon.

      I am attempting to repair damage to this car.
