i have the 2 alternator belt setup. does the fan need to be removed to replace these belts? i know the ac compressor belt needs to come off first...

    Hi,

    No you don't have to.

    When removing them-after you get both alt. belts off all of the pulleys pull the belts back into/under the plastic fan shroud and over each blade of the fan.

    Same process in reverse on installation.

    what you're asking is something you can determine in a minute if you bother to make an effort. will it fit with a little manipulation or not?

      thanks travis, i thought it was a close call so thus the question. trichard obviouusly i would have 'made the effort' but i rather thought it would be nice to know ahead of time, yes or no, from someone who had the experience. now i know.
