940 will not start after repairs

I have a 91 940 with 200K miles. It won't start. When the problem started it was slugish like not getting gas. I replaced the fuel filter, the fuel pump and the in tank pump (which was a bitch) I am getting spark. It won't fire. Been sitting in the driveway all winter and with the warmer weather need to get back to working on it again. Oh yes replaced the radio suppression relay too. Need some ideas and luck..thanks for reading.

Is the main fuel pump relay working or maybe stuck? When you turn ignition key to on, does the fuel pump run for a few seconds? If not, I'd pull out the relay, pop the cover and make sure no solder joints are cracked. Does the 91 have a crank position sensor? If so this would be at the back of the engine, it attached to a flimsy bracket at the bell housing, these can act sporadic or die. Either of these can shut you down completely, it will crank all day, but never start. I am assuming you have fuel with your new pumps.

Where are you getting spark? At the coil? At one plug?

First, take the oil cap off and be sure the cam is turning when you crank the engine. Then put the cap back on.

Pick up a can of starting fluid. Verify only fuel is missing by squirting a small amount of that starting fluid into the nipple where the fuel pressure regulator's vacuum line comes from on the intake manifold. It should sputter to life for a second or so.
