1974 164E BW35 correct speedometer cable 140-160

Hi all,
Went looking for a part number for a 1974 164E with BW35 and came up with part number 1215546.
None of the usual web sites agree that this is the correct part for me. Some say yes some say no.
I understand the longer cable length version superseded the others but I can't seem to find agreement that this is for M410 or BW35 or both.
Do both transmissions have the same cable attachment?

The 1215546 is for standard tranny with overdrive.

Standard 4 speed cable is 1215548.

This info is from the old RPR catalog.

[Hint: put 1234490 volvo in your address bar and see what turns up]

FCP says 1215546 is a replacement for 1234490 and lists only standard transmissions for the 164 fitment list...

IPD says their 101627 is a replacement for 1215546 AND 1234490 but warns that 101267 is not for my car...

Also, only if I search part number on VP Autoparts it says 164 BW35. I could not find it without using the part number.
