intake manifold 444-544

I have a B20 engine I am going to put into my 1961 PV544. The head is a fuel injection head. Will the B18 intake manifold mate up with the fuel injection manifold, as it is not fitted for ring inserts? Also is the exhaust manifold doesn't look like it will be a problem.

I'm having a hard time understanding what the actual fitment concerns are.

But,
Any B18 or B20 intake manifold will fit fine. You just need to plug the fuel injector holes with freeze plugs (VP Autoparts has them)

Any B18 or B20 exhaust manifold will also fit that head.

Thanks for the info. What confused me are the steel rings fitted between the head and the intake of a b18. There is no grove for that ring on my B20 head. The previous owner (IPS Volvo) had placed quarters in the injector holes.
Thanks again.

Do it properly and plug the hole with freeze plugs

I would send VP Autoparts an email to make sure these are the fuel injector freeze plugs before you order, as no size is noted for these. However, they are in the cylinder head section for the fuel injection motors.

The freeze plugs are 7/8" and should be available at any car parts store.
