Frustrating search for part number 200

The part I am wondering about is #14 in the illustration below. I was at first led to believe the correct number is 1228199. That is what I see it listed as in a similar diagram at Tasca parts.

However, in the same diagram at Tasca another part is assigned the same number. The "spring insulator" which is #2 in the illustration below is also listed as 1228199.

To further complicate things, when searching for "Volvo 1228199" the results frequently turn up yet another part, a front swaybar bushing.

Does anyone know what the part number for the metal bracket found at the connection between the rear sway bar and the trailing arm really is? Or was? Or should be?

Or, regardless of number, does anyone know where can this item be purchased without fear of getting the wrong part?

I borrowed this diagram from another post. Thanks Swedish Baklava.

Let me know if you have trouble finding that bracket. We do carry this part at IPD, though we don't list it on the website. It's part of some sway bar kits we offer.

They go for about $8 each.

Call me at 800-444-6473 and I can get you squared away if need be.

To concur with Ron, 1221956 for the bracket, item 2 on the 1980 drawing and item 16 on the 1989 drawing -- covering both vehicles in your sig.

My two cents: You might want your order to include 947292, Square Necked Screw, inasmuch as it looks like a common 5/16 carriage bolt from the Home Depot will do, those made from crushed Hondas in China snap like fried noodles.

Interesting. I was thinking I might need a couple of those.

I had just found 949349 as the number for the square necked screw before I saw your reply.

When I search for 947292 though it seems to lead to the same part. Tasca and Volvopartswebstore show both numbers. Yours costs less.

It does help. It helps a lot. That seems to be the one.

Thank you.

How did you come up with that?
