91 740 .Today I changed the trunk shocks. What a difference . The trunk lid flies up now! I got them off amazon and they are Sachs , actually Stabilus SG315002.

Good choice with the Sachs/Stabilus. They last a lot longer then most other aftermarket ones.

If Amazon has them now it's probably a good price, too.
