I have an '82 244, and the wires came out of the housing that goes on the ignition switch. please tell me where the 5 wires go,

The closest thing to and overall connections diagram I can suggest is the 1981 Wiring Diagrams factory green book, Master Wiring Diagram coordinates D-4.
