Sherman Parts - Rocker Panels 140-160

I have been looking to source a new rocker panel because mine is eaten by rust. Has anyone ever sourced panels from Sherman Parts?

https://www.shermanparts.com/ecat/base/dropdowns.php?make=Volvo&model=Volvo%20142&year=1972

Thanks for your help!

If you strike out on new aftermarket - I can cut you custom patch panels from
a nice rust free car - Tucson az - If interested - please reply to

volvo165@msn.com so we cad discuss details and I can send pictures

I do NOT work such details on BB because of the unwieldy - time consuming nature
of the site - so - please use my email --- Matt

I recently replaced the rockers on my 142. I found that the "inner" rocker, or the metal that the outer rocker attaches too was also compromised, especially along the bottom. If I had known of Matts offer to cut the pieces from a rust free car, especially if the inner portion were included, I would have gladly gone that route and wound up with a much cleaner job!

I have not tried Sherman parts so can't comment , I did use VP Autoparts for my body bits and pieces for my 142 and was quite pleased , hope this helps?
